DONE!

Well, I'm finally done with another semester and i couldnt be happier!!! there's only a small bit of doubt and a large amount of prayer that i wont have to retake any of those horrible classes again but as of the moment and for the rest of the 2008 year i'm not going to think about it! i'm going to celebrate and enjoy my 2 weeks off and go on a vacation all the way to Sandy and play in the freezing cold snow and take long luxurious naps!

Just hangin out

Here's a couple pictures of fun stuff that goes on that makes life fun and something to look forward to every day.

Yesterday, Zach's brother Jeremy did his first mini-triathlon. He ran a 5k, biked 10 miles and swam a long ways...i dont know how far but he did awesome! Jeremy totally motivated me to do one next year sometime. I think that would be awesome. What an accomplishment! Congrats J-dogg!!!
Zach's family after the race

So my roommate Ali and I have wonderful shirts...my grandma gave me mine after a choir concert last month. Apparantly i love Hanna Montana and Ali loves Troy! Go HSM!

I just thought this was a cute picture of a sunday evening at my house with Zach reading stories to Avery and Zac.

Halloween Night

Once again, Halloween Night rolled around and we still didnt have a costume and didnt want to go as karate kids again so we improvised. well, i borrowed jill's costume and i made Zach cordinate with mine. I must say he did surprise me when i went over to his house. I was very impressed he could come up with something that good. We went to Jill's and Brent's house to see the cute kids and hang out with everyone. although, i am a little dissapointed no other adults dressed up. Next year i'm making a new rule that all the adults have to dress up too. You all have a year's notice so no excuses next time. I think it would be hilarious.

Avery is such a cute little cheerleader

Here we are striking our pose in front of zach's house before visiting my family. He made me drive to brent's house because he was too uncomfortable in his suit that was like 10 sized too small for him. I'm surprised his pants didnt rip throughout the whole night.

Lexi was the cute little princess, Ariel. She was so funny to watch when she handed out candy to all the other little kids! So cute!

Cheryse's Halloween Party

My friend Cheryse threw a Halloween party the weekend before halloween and Zach and I had no idea what to wear and we didnt want to go by a costume. So we threw on some of his old karate outfits and he went as Chuck Norris and I was the karate Kid I guess...I dont really think anyone knew what we were besides Karate people unless we told them otherwise, but it was still fun to dress up and go out. Thanks Cheryse for throwing such a fun party!
Getting into character...

Cheryse and Zach had a pumpkin carving contest and Zach did is famous "throw-up" pumpkin face. He was really proud of himself. You can judge yourself to decide who's is better

Cheryse and I trying to be creative...I really put this picture up so you could see her husband in the background with his mustache and comb over hair and christmas sweater. I didnt even recognize him at first when he came to the door! so funny!

September Recap

Welcome back to my blog...I remembered i had one so i guess its time to update since i missed the whole month of September. Needless to say the month flew by without me even realizing it and i can't believe its already october! I'm sure you all feel the same way but i am loving every minute of this beautiful weather. Soak it in before it's all gone.

I've decided to put up just a bunch of random pictures taken throughout the end of August and September to fill you in on whats been going. With school starting and moving to a new apartment, life's been a little crazy but it's been so much fun starting a new school year with new roommates and new classes. I cant imagine around this time next year i'll be finishing up and graduating from school. Life goes by too fast!

Zach's little brother plays on one of the Brighton Football teams so when I wake up in time to go to the games on saturday mornings it's always a fun little outing. Notice how i must have just barely woken up for this one and it probably started at like 10:00am.

My old roommate, Siri, got her mission call to Germany and leaves in November. Me, Siri, and Haley have sung together for years and I love every chance i get to see them! Congrats Siri, I'm so excited and happy for you!!! You will be a great missionary!

Zach and I got bored and wanted to go out and do something fun on a Saturday night so we went down to Gateway and walked around the shops. I'm still a little confused how he ended up getting two pairs of pants and a shirt and I left with nothing but ice cream...very unusual.

The Thomsens and Robinsons got together for a end of summer barbeque in our backyard on a sunday afternoon. It was long overdue and was so much fun to see everyone together again. I dont have a picture of everyone together...that would have been cool but here is one of me and baby Cameron at the barbeque before we started eating. isn't he so sweet and little!

One of THE most FUn nights!!! A bunch of us went to Classic Skating one weekend and played in all their blow up slides and obstacle courses and went skating afterwards. I totally felt like i was back in the 7th grade waiting for someone to ask me to skate with them for the "snowball". It was alot of fun, unfortunatley some of the guys were too big to play on the blow up stuff and almost tipped one over which would have been a really bad thing, but luckily that was an ALMOST occurance.

Have you ever wanted to stop and take a picture on the Sinclair Dinosaur on the corner of Highland Drive and Fort Union BlVD? well we did, so...here's proof.

This was the first cute girl i saw when i moved all my stuff back from school for 2 weeks and lived at home. My best friend in the whole wide world was so kind enough to take me on her sweet scooter for a ride! I want one of those now! Thanks Mick!

BEES GAME

My dad had a bunch of extra tickets to a baseball game, so he brought the whole Robinson, Thomsen and Taylor clan along for the party. It was really fun. we took up a pretty good size of seats and watched the little kids i think more than we actually watched the baseball game itself. Thanks dad!

"Weiner Wednesday!" hot dogs for only $1.00 rather than 3, so being the hungry giants zach and i are...we bought like 4 each person. My whole family gave me the strangest look when we both walked up the stairs with 4 hot dogs and a soda in each hand. Hey, they're really good and not that filling so why not stock up?

Lexi's obviously really intent on watching the game!

Here's the two trouble making Zachary's. 'Zac with an H' on the left and 'ZAC' on the right.

TUACHAN

Being the musical theatre fan that i am, I got to see Les Miserables with my family on our vacation to St. George. We got there way early than expected and took some pictures to channel our anxiousness.

So precious...
I think we wore out Owen and Zach on the trip...thats okay, this picture is definately worth it!

Three Cheers for Mom!

Go MOM!!!
This is just a little shout out to my wonderful mother! She is the most amazing mother anyone could ask for and she has an incredible amount of patience to put up with me as her daughter. Like all you mothers or soon to be mothers, she doesnt get the kind of praise and credit she should for all the non stop work and service for her family, friends and co-workers. I know i have taken her for granted for years and expected so much out of her that she could have easily said "figure it out yourself" but she never stops caring and loving everyone around her. She is so fun to be around and is always positive and happy about life. I love her so much! Thanks mom for being everything i could ever want in a mother!
Here are a few reasons why she is number one in my book:

She loves her grandkids with all her heart and would do anything to make them happy. (sorry i dont have a picture of all 4 of them...i'm not the photographer in the family)

She's my number one fan and supporter in anything i want to do!

She appreciates the wonderful art BYU has to offer...or is willing to take a random picture with me of it(:

She takes random trips to St. George just to be with me...and watch 90 year old ladies tap dance at Tuachan!

WE ALL LOVE YOU SO MUCH AND HOPE YOU ARE HAVING A WONDERFUL DAY!

24th of July

Since the 24th of July fell on a thursday and i had the priveledge of going to school the next day, i couldnt take the trip to the cabin with the family (i know your all muttering that i wouldnt have gone anyway BUT i would have, so stop thinking it right now!) Jill, being the great big sister that she is, invited me to come down and hang out with her cute little family for the day. We had so much fun going to the petting zoo at Thanksgiving Point for a little bit. Lexi loved the chickens and waved hello and goodbye each time she went to see a new animal. She also like feeding them corn. I dont have any pictures but i know jill took some so hopefully she'll put a couple cute ones up because Lexi was a doll!

Then we hung out at the pool with some of Jill's friends. Lexi was so sweet and we played Motorboat and Ring around the Rosies in the pool. She is such a little fish and i love watching her run around in her cute little swimsuits with matching bows!

I think Lexi is starting to like her Aunt Dee!!! I love you Lexi!!!

Good times with friends

Some of my old friends got together for last weekend for some intensive food, sand volleyball, and ice blocking at the park. It was so fun to see everyone and watch the guys make fools of themselves as they slid down the hill at Flat Iron Park.
I think Blake was a little nervous to try and go through my legs down the hill...don't worry i moved just in time.

Me and my best friend Haley!!!

Here's a genius idea...lets push them down the hill and make them go faster than they already are...then lets watch them fall off and roll the rest of the way down the hill!

Say cheese! And as a side note...the sprinklers go off around 9:00pm...we found that out the hard way and when we went back to pack up all of our food and stuff, there was nothing left to salvage. It was all destroyed by water, if water can destroy plastic...well, atleast it destroyed the hamburger buns.

4th of July

Zach came home for the 4th of July weekend and I was SO HAPPY! I couldn't ask for anything more. He flew in Friday night and we went out to Brent and Amy's for dinner and fireworks with the cute kids. Saturday morning we left for a short St. George trip with Zach's family. We played tons of card games, hung out by the pool and hit up the new IN-N-OUT drive thru on our little excursion. We got a little sun but it really was too hot to stay outside for a long time. I was so happy to get away from school for a couple days and to see Zach. Only a few more weeks and he is home for good! YAY!

We took a little break in Beaver and look what he found....such a little kid(:

Zach's brother's kitchen sink broke...so he spent most of sunday night trying to fix it. Unfortunately, his cloroxed pants wont be making it to next fall. The got ruined in the process but it was all worth it when the kitchen wasn't flooded anymore.

My family had a family reunion that weekend so we stopped by on our way back from St. George. We took a short detour and stopped by the huge windmills in Springeville after the reunion so we could take a picture next to them.

Summer Catch~up

Okay, i'll finally seriously get started on this blogging thing. It just takes me forever to figure anything out and I'm too lazy to take the time to do it. Hopefully this will be a succesful post and catch my three avid readers up to date on my summer...

Ragnar Relay 2008

So, middle of June, my dear neighbor Ashley forced me into running the Wasatch Back Relay Race. Each team has up to 12 team members and everyone takes turns running various legs (in miles) from around 3-8 miles each. I dont think I was totally ready for it but it was definately worth it. We started Friday morning and finished Saturday afternoon. My mom, Amy, and Jodie came up to see us cross the finish line. Man was i so happy to be done! I'm not quite sure if i want to do it again next year...still thinking about that one.

I know i look goofy in this picture but i dont have one of the entire team so this one will have to do.

Ashley and me at the top of an enormous hill she just ran up! It was such a pretty view from the top.

Beginnings

So, I didnt want to feel left out of the club and decided to create my own blog for all others to enjoy. This way i can update you on my life and the fun things inside because I'm sure those of you reading this (probably two people) aren't on facebook(: I'll do my best to fill this space with something of importance but i'll probably just end up rambling about myself. Anyway, enjoy!
I just got back from a trip to the British Isles and drove all across England, Wales and Ireland! It was incredible. This is my solemn lookout over the Irish Sea as we were getting ready to leave the country the next day. It was beautiful!

Here I am with a group of beautiful girls sitting inside the Tintern Abbey in Wales. We had a little devotional inside the front entrance (or "warming room") and sang a couple songs ( the acoustics were incredible). After, we walked around and stared in amazement how this marvelous building was ever built. Words cannot explain and pictures cannot do justice the beauty and feelings you feel as you walk through each section and read the background of the Abbey itself.
While in Ireland, we drove through the Ring of Kerry and stopped at a few places to look out over the water and take pictures. The road was tiny and cars would come speeding past you around blind corners so it was a little scary but we obviously made it through safe and sound. (The Ring of Kerry is also the place where a great deal of "The Princess Bride" was filmed).

Stratford-Upon-Avon was the first town we visited in England and it might just be my favorite. There are tiny little houses connected to eachother all over the place and the doors are so small i think i would have to duck to get in them. There are tons of shops surrounding the River Avon and hundreds of round-a-bouts instead of intersections with street lights which can be either lots of fun to drive or lots of chaos and confusion, which was mostly our case with 5 vans driving around the cities in England but i made great memories!
There's just a few pictures to describe the things i saw! I promise i wont write as much next time but this trip needed some explanations I'm sure! I can't wait till i can go back again....which probably wont be for a very very long time, but a girl can dream!!!
