I sang in the devotional with womens chorus on tuesday and Elder Rasband came and spoke to us about temples and urged us to go through the Draper Temple and the Oquirr Mountain Temple. We sang "Where can I turn for peace" and I thought it was very ironic/perfect that he spoke about the importance of temples. So i called Zach, ditched Provo and spent 3 hours going through.
To all those who havent gone or weren't planning on going for whatever reason, I highly suggest you go. The best way I can describe it is by 2 choice words: "Simple Beauty"
I am so excited that that is my temple now and I can go there for peace and quiet in my busy confusing and ongoing life. Thanks Zach for going with me although you've already been and for explaining things I wasn't sure of.
Everyone go whenever you can, It is well worth your time and it will change your life!

Double Feature
This Saturday, I had the first of my life...
My parents and I went to not one but TWO movies in a row at Jordan Commons.
That may not be a shocker to some of you who regularly do such things
but for me this was huge!
We wanted to see Bride Wars but it was sold out an hour before the showing
so we got tickets to
"He's just not that into you"
(Great movie by the way, everyone should see it, young and old)
then as we were sitting eating dinner before the show started
we decided to get tickets for Bride Wars 10 minutes after the other one got out.
Now,
If anyone knows me, they know that i dont stay awake during any movie
so i was a little skeptical about this
but my parents were both gung ho and super excited
so i figured, what the heck! lets do it!
Needless to say,
both movies were excellent.
I stayed awake for both
and highly recommend to anyone and everyone to see them!
Zach joined us for Bride Wars after he got off work
and it was hilarious!
Loved every minute of my saturday night.
Thanks Mom and Dad for another first in my life!

St. George
No, I didn't go to St. George
but
I'd really really like to.
Do I have any takers
?
I'm thinking of going President's Day weekend...
no school and no work
so take full advantage people.
Think of it
warm sunshine
nice weather
relaxation from the world.
LIVE the DREAM
and
ESCAPE to
St. George
with
ME!

Carrie Underwood Concert
I've decided to stop being so pessimistic and take the time to blog all the fun things that have gone on the past few months. Last fall, Zach's dad took the whole family to the Carrie Underwood Concert. I had an hours notice to get my shift covered at work, shower and get to Salt Lake but it was all worth it! Carrie is incredible and I couldnt pass up this opportunity! Thanks for the incredible memory!!!
Family picture after the concert, I even got a Carrie Underwood t-shirt

I NEED TO GRADUATE!!!
This was the conversation my professor and the class had this morning for our first exam this semester...
First off, the exam started the 22nd but we didnt even finish covering the material on the test until about 15 minutes ago this morning and the test only runs until tomorrow and the late day with a fee is on wednesday. Guess i'll be forking over 5 bucks. There's a written, listening and essay portion. He went on to explain that the essay should be taken very seriously....if we write 6 pages we better pray its really good and if its not, we better just keep writing! my jaw freakin dropped. i know everyone has these kinds of frusterations and has been through this crap before but i just needed to vent and tell the world that i'll be a happy camper when this freaking torture hole is OVER! I'm so SICK of music HISTORY!!! Boo!

REALLY......?!
SO...
I just spent 2 hours trying to figure out how in the world to bounce and burn a stupid film cue on to cd for a class that's in 30 minutes. It's amazing to me how with the touch of one stinking button my life can be changed forever and i can go on living without fear that my stupid project won't be heard in class after all that time. It's also really pathetic on my part that it probably took me longer to bounce the dang thing to an audio file than it did to actually compose it! Just a little glimpse into the life of an unintellectual (can't even spell that word) college student!!!
