Summer

So as far as summer goes...it went! Here are some fun things that I did.
1. Nanny my cute little neice and nephew
2. drove the H2 down to St. George with my best friend Maquelle
3. Celebrated lots of little kids birthdays!
4. Teach my nephews piano lessons...which they will get ice cream tonight if they practice(:
5. Entered a songwriting/vocal competition
6. Drove to Idaho to perform at a fireside with Jenny Phillips
7. Partied all day and all night long while my parents decided to travel the country
8. Ran 1 mile......
9. Still haven't but soon will finish my last online class
10. Almost finished reading 3 books in a month. All time record considering I don't know how to read!

How can you resist this cute little face when it peers into your eyes?
Monday, I took Lexi and Cameron to walk around the Draper Temple grounds. I thought it might be fun to get out and enjoy the last few days of summer. Pretty sure she's not supposed to run on the grass but no one was around and she like weighs 10 pounds.

and smiling together
Lexi loving Cameron but Cameron's pretty much in a chokehold and it's all he can do to break free from his big sisters loving grip

Haley and I sang at a Fireside in Rexburg, Idaho last Sunday night so we stopped to see the temple before we drove home. It is so beautiful! Thanks for coming with me Haley!
The car ride to Idaho

Maquelle and I took a quick trip to George because we wanted to get away and get burned which is just what we did

Peace, love and happiness!

Lexi's already into her US Weekly magazines at age 3

Here is my BEAUTIFUL niece Gracie! I know my eyes are closed but this is just a priceless face of hers smiling and you've all seen my eyes open so many times so I figured I would put this one up of her because she is so adorable!

Happy Birthday Cameron!

NYC Trip

Finally I've put up pictures from my trip to New York last month! I put up a ton too so hopefully all your cravings will be satisfied. Unfortunately I spent all my time uploading the pictures in the backwards order of my trip so their not in order of the days I went but I figure, none of you will care or no the difference so here is a witness I'm still alive this summer!
Haley, Me, Siri and Michael at a delicious restaraunt called Tremonti's. They had the best 3 cheese past i've ever had! And thank you to Siri and Michael for letting us crash at their place for 5 days!!!

Update

I'm alive and well.
The end of the semester was great and I passed all my classes.. whew.

I started up another fast 7 week semester at the SLC extension and am interning at the Deseret Book Corporate office just for a few more weeks while working for my parents whenever I have free time (best job when you can set your hours).

I went to st. george with my family and Zach's family over Memorial Day and it was so much fun to just enjoy the beautiful weather. I didnt even bring one school book down! That has not happened since like middle school!

And now for the real fun reason I posted this morning...
Jill emailed me 2 pictures of my adorable niece in her first dance costume!!!
SO CUTE!

So I just can't resist bragging about how cute she looks! I can't wait for her recital!

GOOD LUCK LEXI LOU!!!

Ode to my room

Dear room:
How I will miss you so, as I woke up this morning with an awful feeling in my stomach knowing this was my last morning in your company. I miss you with all my heart and wish many more happy and kind roommates to follow.
To my large and spacious living room:
Where I spent Monday nights watching The Bachelor (hate Jason) with our lovely friends. I will miss your warmth but I will never miss you nasty old sunken couches. you must be replaced asap.
To my wonderful, roomy kitchen. I'm sorry for neglecting you on weekends...and weekdays too, but i did enjoy my early morning breakfast chats as I leisurely made my way to class every morning...You will be missed and longed for for years to come.
And bedroom...
There will never be another like you. With your beautiful bay window looking out into the sky every morning. I'll never again see hair in the drain and not have to wonder if it was mine. Thank you for that.
Closet...I cringe at the sight of the many closets ahead. I felt like a princess and I could live for days in your close quarters.
Beloved T.V.~
Life will never be the same, nor has it ever been till you. You've shown me what life is like to have a t.v. in my room. you kept me company, kept me from doing homework, kept me from sleeping, and put me to bed on long nights when i couldn't fall asleep. Thank you for you're sleep timer and thank you for instilling a desire in me to buy every product on every infomercial ever created.
Luxurious bed
No more words can be said.
I slept like an angel in your big soft sheets and want to steal my sisters comforter and never give it back. Thank you for helping me sleep through most of my 8:00 am classes this winter. It was a treat.
And lastly,
My view. Thank you desk for being placed right outside the window so that I get caught up in the sunsets while trying to study. I will miss you the most. Please never forget my presence. Bittersweet, I am off to bigger and better things....the room i lived in when I was in high school, not for long I hope but it shall do. Thank you room and roommies for making my senior year the most fun and unproductive one of the four. Senioritis was definately welcome at all hours of our apartment!
